How We Measure

A JellycatP can be round or long, tiny or huge, sitting up or lying down. Each product page lists height, width, and length — always in that order. Ears and tails are never part of the number.

Sitting friends

For many characters, including Bashful Bunny, height runs from the top of the head to the back of the heel. Length is the widest side view; width is the widest back view. Sitting height leaves the legs out of the tape.

Standing dogs and similar

Friends such as Munro and Otto are measured from head to feet, across the widest body, and from the furthest forward point to the base of the tail (tails stay off the tape). Sitting height matches standing height.

Tummy-down designs

Scrumptious Dragons and Smudges are measured at the highest point of the body, the widest span, and from nose to the base of the tail. Tentacles are measured unstretched; sitting height is the main body only.
